This incredible 3-hour tubing excursion is tons of fun for the entire family! so relaxing, adventurous and fun for everyone!When you arrive at the launch site at Hanama'ulu, guides help you put on a headlight and hop on an inner tube. Float down the warm current of the Lihue Plantation's historic irrigation channels, comprising a complex series of open canals and engineered tunnels dug in the 19th century for sugar cane transport. The crystal clear waters of Mount Waialeale have journeyed from the highest parts of Kauai to create a passage through spectacular landscapes and untraveled terrain all across the beautiful island of Kauai. Kids appreciate that this tubing adventure, with its many flumes, tunnels, and maze-like waterways, is as much a ride as it is a tour!

During your leisurely tube tour of Kauai, you see remote mountains, valleys, and coastlines that are difficult to access by land. Also called the "Garden Island", Kauai features spectacular views of erosional valleys, sparkling waterfalls, and lush emerald green vegetation. Of course, you also get an up-close view of 17,000 acres of land that was formerly part of the Lihue sugar plantation and your guides make sure to point out how this land still retains some remnants of Kauai's historic past. Make sure to turn on your headlight as you cross through the unique engineered tunnels along your journey! The culmination of this unique tour is a complimentary picnic lunch at a remote natural swimming hole where you get to enjoy fine food and relax in the deep turquoise rain-fed waters.

If you're interested in this tubing adventure, don't forget to pack a swim suit, water shoes, towels, sunscreen, and a dry change of clothes. Also a waterproof camera couldn't hurt to capture this adventure.  Although you spend much of your time relaxing in a tube, this tour is best suited for people in moderate to good physical condition with good swimming skills. Children should be age 5yrs and older to enjoy it with their parents.
