Duration: 10 Hours
Location: Laie, Oahu
Departs from: Polynesian Cultural Center or your hotel

When you choose the Ambassador Ali'i Luau Tour, you've added a touch of luxury to your stay at the Polynesian Cultural Center. Leave your worries behind and immerse yourself in the soothing beauty of an island paradise.

The Polynesian Cultural Center opened in 1963, but the native cultures you'll experience there are almost timeless. Seven villages represent the ancient cultures of Tonga, Samoa, Fiji, Aotearoa New Zealand, Hawaii, Marquesas and Tahiti.

Vivid colors, tropical foods and inventive island housing greet you at every turn. Exotic dancers perform on long canoes in the winding lagoon.
Ocean breezes bring the sweet scent of mystical flowers. All is well.

A special Behind the Scenes Tour rounds out the afternoon's activities.

As evening falls, it's time for the Ali'i Luau …. a feast of sights, sounds and culinary delights. Hawaiian music permeates the air, the hypnotic Hula beguiles, a roasting pig lies buried deep in the underground imu, fine dining begins.

Take your pick. There's kalua pua'a (roast pork), lomilomi salmon, deep purple Hawaiian sweet potatoes, poi, poke, taro rolls and a vast smorgasboard of fascinating salads and vegetables. And of course, a heavenly array of exotic fruits. If there's any room left, try the haupia, a sweet coconut dessert.

But the best is last …. the spectacular dramatic production of ''Ha: Breath of Life''. You'll have lower level premium seating where no detail will escape your attention. Native drums, island songs and pulsating dances intertwine to tell the story of an island boy, Mana, who grows into a warrior. Over a hundred native performers bring this ancient legend to life. A scrumptious pineapple dessert will brighten your intermission break.

Before departing, you'll receive a special gift DVD. It will echo your memories of a day spent in paradise.
