North Shore Catamaran Sunset Sail
Tour ID: ONSC-01
Location: North Shore, Oahu
Duration: 2 Hours
Departs from: the Haleiwa Boat Harbor
The island of Oahu's North Shore provides some of Hawai'i's most spectacular scenery and is a wonderful place for sightseeing. The area is famous for the big waves that make it legendary with surfers, but on an evening Catamaran Sunset Sail, views of the North Shore take on a new dimension. Passengers on the catamaran will see the shore from out on the Pacific Ocean as the setting sun changes the colors and tones of the spectacular scenery throughout the experience.
The host 40 ft sailing catamaran is named the Ho'o Nanea, which means ''to pass the time in peace and comfort'' in Hawai'ian, and the it is named that for good reason. The vessel sails smoothly on the clear blue Pacific waters, comfortably carrying up to 25 passengers on the two hour ocean cruise. The journey embarks at the small boat harbor in Haleiwa, North Oahu and cruises along the coast of the North Shore to beautiful Waimea Bay and back again.
The Catamaran Sunset Sail gives passengers a continually changing perspective on the North Shore's scenery from the tranquility of the open ocean, providing unmatched Pacific-side views of the area's beautiful bays as you sail along the coast. Passengers will get to experience the dynamic beauty of the panorama from the smooth comfort of the catamaran as the sun slowly sinks into the horizon on a warm Hawai'ian evening. You may see Hawai'i's native whales, dolphins and sea turtles during the two hour journey, and in winter months you may even see magnificent humpback whales, making the experience a truly memorable one.
The North Shore Catamaran Sunset Sail ticket price includes soft drinks only, but guests are welcome to bring their own food and beverages to enjoy an evening picnic on the ocean. The trip is available every evening, seven days a week, all year around for passengers over the age of four.
