This Kauai jeep tour takes you to all the must see sites on the island. You will see the changes in vegetation as you ride up the Kilohana Crater 1250 feet above sea level. Along the Mayaulepu coastline you will see sugar, rat berries, guava, and a forest mixed with bamboo and guava. From the east you will see the bottom of the crater about one half mile wide. The wild pigs of the area now call this their home. From the west you can see the many beautiful parts of the island.

From there you will be taken to a rest area as you listen to your guides provide information about the island and history of how the Polynesians migrated to Hawaii. They will also narrate the history of the Hawaiins and how the sugar industry and diversity of agriculture has shaped the people. Papuaa reservoir, located at the base of the mountain, will be the next stop. From there you will take off to see the bunkers built in the area during World War II. After some refreshments you will visit Hawaii's oldest plantation town, Koloa. From there you will return to Kilohana. As you can see, this is a must do tour when visiting Kauai.
