Zipline: Consists of a pulley suspended on a 2-inch steel cable mounted on an incline. It is designed to enable a user propelled by gravity to cruise in mid-air from the top to the bottom of the inclined cable, by holding on or attaching to the freely moving pulley. Get ready for an adventure you will not soon forget!
Your Big Island Zipline adventure starts with a 40-minute off-road tour on either our Humvees or a Pinzauer (six-wheel drive Swiss Army Vehicle) Enjoy the beautiful tropic and lush greenery of the North Kohala Mountains. Upon arrival in the dense Albizia Forest, soar across 8 ziplines. Once we get started, we will hike for about 3 minutes to our first zipline. This is to get familiar with your zipline tour, because the next ziplines are longer and higher. On our 3rd zipline you will cross the hand carved bridge that sits on top of the beautiful waterfall that you are about to fly across.
Three more ziplines will take you to our ''Mac Nut Hut'', a cantilevered pavilion, that overlooks our private 32' Hawaiian waterfall. Once you arrive, sit back and talk story with our crew and meet your new friends while cracking fresh macadamia nuts and eating locally made baked goods and organic fruits prepared by Ka Hana Noeau, a local youth mentorship program.
Next, view our beautiful stream full of dancing eddies from our suspension bridge. The last two ziplines are certain to take your breath away with views of another beautiful waterfall, the Kohala Lighthouse, and a view of Maui. At the end of the tour, take another off-road safari down the mountainside with an excellent view of whales playing (seasonally) in the blue Pacific Ocean.
